SafePlus is a metal enclosed compact switchgear system for distribution applications up to 40.5 kV. The switchgear has a unique flexibility due to its extendibility and the possible combination of fully modular and semi-modular configurations. SafePlus is from the same product family as SafeRing and has identical user interface.
SafePlus is a completely sealed system with a stainless steel tank containing all live parts and switching functions. A sealed steel tank with constant atmospheric conditions ensures a high level of reliability as well as personnel safety and a virtually maintenance-free system.

Operation of vacuum circuit-breaker
The isolator in the V-module can only be opened after the circuit-breaker is opened. Then the circuit-breaker can be closed for testing purposes.
Mechanical position indicators:
- Green push-button closes the switch A
- Red push-button opens the switch B
- Mechanical position indication, circuit-breaker open C
- Mechanical position indication, earthing switch closed D
Vacuum circuit-breaker:
- Charging springs: Turn the operating handle clockwise to charge the closing and the opening spring
- Close: Push the green button A
- Open: Push the red button B
Switch disconnector:
- Close: Turn the operating handle clockwise.
- Open: Turn the operating handle anti-clockwise.
Earthing switch:
- Close: Turn the operating handle clockwise.
- Open: Turn the operating handle anti-clockwise.
